Stephen Duggan

Steve is General Manager of the Energy and Resources Program at the Bureau of Meteorology. He leads a large team delivering impactful solutions to Australia's energy and resources sector by applying the Bureau’s substantial capabilities. His work focuses on delivering practical insights and solutions that improve environmental and operational performance.

Steve has a background in environmental engineering and broad experience across public and private sectors. He combines deep technical knowledge with leadership skills to guide teams and deliver outcomes that meet industry needs. His approach emphasises strategic engagement, deep understanding of customer requirements, and collaborative execution to address industry challenges.
