We are excited you are joining us as a speaker, and thank you in advance for your time and effort. We are looking forward to a fantastic event. This page contains everything you need to prepare for your session, including event details, arrival information, presentation requirements, AV specifications and key contacts. Please review the sections below relevant to your speaker role.
Event Details
Energy in Western Australia Conference will take place from 10-11 September at the Ritz-Carlton, 1 Barrack St, Perth. You can view the latest event agenda for the most up-to-date program details here. Please note: the agenda is updated regularly, so we recommend checking your session time before arriving in case any minor program changes have been made.
What you need to do!
Please respond to the email to confirm receipt and provide your mobile phone number and dietary requirements (if applicable). If you are presenting as a keynote, slides are due at least 2 days prior (find details below).
Arrival & Registration
When you arrive, please head to the registration desk to collect your complimentary speaker pass. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before your session so you have plenty of time to settle in and have a coffee. Speaker passes are non-transferable, and speaker referral discounts are available if you have colleagues who would like to attend.
Photography
Professional photography has been arranged for this event, although please be advised they are unable to take requests of specific shots.
Colleagues are welcome to take photographs, not videos, during the event where appropriate.

Keynote Speaker
For your presentation, please provide your slides by Monday 7th September 2026. Ensure they are in PowerPoint 16:9 format so the team can prepare everything smoothly before your session.
Please be in the room 10 minutes before your session, and keep in mind that your allocated session time includes Q&A. After your session, presentation PDFs will be shared with attendees unless you have advised us otherwise.
Chair Details
Chairperson
Quest staff will be onsite from 7:30am, with registration opening at 8:15am and the event commencing at 8:50am. Please meet with the Producer when you arrive, and they will provide your chairperson pack and help you get settled. A lectern and microphone will be available. Please advise the operations team if you would prefer to have a lapel.
Timecards will be provided, if needed, to alert speakers during their sessions allowing them to keep time. We do ask to leave five minutes for Q&A from the audience unless otherwise advised.
Panelist Details
Panel Speaker
Your moderator will be in touch before the event to help coordinate the panel discussion. Handheld microphones and panel seating will be provided, and we recommend being in the room 5–10 minutes before your session so you have time to get settled with the group.

Panel Moderator
Panel Moderators will be provided with the details of the panels prior to the event, so there is time to prepare for a great discussion.
A lectern and microphone will be available, and handheld or lapel microphones can be arranged on request if needed. Panelists will be seated on panel chairs with hand held microphones. The Chairperson will introduce the moderator and topic and from here you will lead the discussion/opening. There are no slides to prepare.
Assistants & Communications Team
Support staff are welcome to attend for your speaking session (no catering or access to the conference) and will need to be registered prior to the event. Please contact your event manager with the details (name, email, phone, job title).
