Mary is a globally recognised expert in decision making for sustainable development, assisting some of Australia’s largest energy users to improve their significant energy and carbon footprints. Mary is a recognised international expert on Life Cycle Assessment as it applies to resources and is an expert in developing carbon footprints and carbon neutral positions. Mary seeks to anticipate risks and opportunities for Australian businesses and our governments and ensure that these are managed and mitigated. She also has a wealth of knowledge about energy and greenhouse reporting and carbon footprint assessments. Mary is the lead partner for ERM’s Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change team in Australia. This year she received the Ambassador Medal from the Institution of Chemical Engineers for her pivotal role in shaping IChemE's response to climate change. She represent the Business and Industry sector on working groups of the Technology Executive Committee of the UNFCCC.
