Amy Tait

Amy Tait is an experienced policy and strategy professional with a career spanning Federal, British and State Government policy agencies, and Ministerial Offices. Her policy experience has seen her work in a range of diverse sectors but the energy sector is the one that lights her up the most. In her role as Group Manager, Market Development & Energy Procurement at AEMO, Amy leads teams across regulatory affairs and reform development, distributed energy resources integration, facility registration and monitoring, and also oversees the operations of the Reserve Capacity Mechanism and other energy procurement processes. Amy is passionate about advancing solutions to the energy trilemma – delivering reliability, affordability, and sustainability – and is driven by a commitment to turning good policy into great outcomes for the people of WA. Outside of work, Amy’s passions are her family, friends, and lychee martinis.
